One Love, One Promise

"Do you think that it's possible for two people to love each other for forever?" Kurt Hummel asked as he wrapped tighter around his boyfriend.
"Of course I think it's possible, but you know what is impossible?" Blaine responded.
"What?"
"Getting to Pigfarts-without a rocket ship, because..."
"It's on Maaaaaars...yeah I got it."
"Normally that one makes you laugh,"
"Yeah, well I was being serious,"
"Sorry, serious face." Blaine whispered.
"Blaine?"
"Yes?"
"Do you think that we will love each other for forever?"
"I think that it is possible, I'd like to think that we will, but only time will tell. Where are all of these questions coming from anyway?" Blaine looked over at Kurt.
"I don't know, I just-Blaine..." Kurt sat up.
"What is it?"
"It's just-I've never had anyone that I loved as much as I love you, and you aren't just my boyfriend, you are my best friend, you saved me Blaine,"
Blaine stared at Kurt, stunned by everything that was just said.
"Okay, I am really that all of that just piled out, even I wasn't expecting it." Kurt fell back, burying his face in his pillow.
"Kurt, I really don't know what to say except that I love you and you are the only person that knows me for me. I know that I can trust you with everything. Kurt you are the guy of my dreams...like I said back when you were at Dalton, I have been looking for you forever. I love you so much." Blaine blurted out quickly.
Blaine brought Kurt into his arms and held him there as they both fell asleep.


"Wake up, Kurt." Blaine said, stroking Kurt's flawless face.
"Mmmmmmmhhhhmmmmm, but it's so early."
"Kurt, honey, it's eleven-thirty,"
"Oh my God, I never sleep this late!"
"Well, you did today."
"Was last night a dream?" Blaine smiled.
"You know..."
"No, I don't think I do...The only thing that I remember is you confessing your feelings for me."
Kurt slapped Blaine's chest, "As I recall, you did the exact same thing."
"Did I now?" Blaine teased.
Kurt tackled Blaine, pinning his arms down on the mattress. Kurt leaned in to kiss Blaine but turned away.
"I need food." Kurt stood up.
"You are such a tease Kurt Hummel."
"That's why you love me."

Blaine met Kurt in the kitchen.
"You did mean all of those things you said last night, didn't you?" Kurt asked, pouring himself a cup of coffee.
"Of course I meant them, Kurt." Kurt smiled, still unsure of Blaine's true feelings. Blaine could sense what Kurt was feeling, and he knew that he would have to prove to Kurt that he really did love him, and that he wasn't going anywhere.

"Hey Mercedes." Blaine had called Mercedes for some advice.
"Blaine?" Mercedes responded.
"Yeah it's me."
"Baby, what's wrong?"
"I need some advice on a special subject."
"Kurt?"
"Yeah."
"What do you need to know?"
"I don't think that he really knows how I feel. I mean I tell him every single day that I love him, and he says it back, but last night, we started talking about our feelings, and a lot of stuff came out, but I don't think that he really believed everything that I told him."
"So you decided to come to me for boyfriend advice?"
"Well, you know everything about him, well not everything, but I am sure that he has told you things that he hasn't told me. I need a way of convincing him that I really do love him."
"He might've mentioned some things. Look Blaine, Kurt loves you, he really loves you, but Kurt doesn't trust everyone like he trusts you, he is afraid of getting hurt. He seriously doesn't want to lose you, it would tear him apart. You are his rock, if you leave, he will crumble."
" I know, I know, I need him too, he makes me happy, and after everything I went through at my other school, he makes me feel safe and loved. He brightens my days, every time that he smiles. I would never leave him, unless he never wanted to see me again. The day that he no longer loves me, I am gone, but I will never. Stop. Loving. Him." Blaine heard whimpering coming from the other side of the phone.
"Ummmm...Mercedes?"
"Blaine...Yo-you gotta te-tell him every-everything you just to-told me." Mercedes choked out.
"Why are you crying?"
"Kurt is just so damn lucky. I would kill for a boyfriend like you, scratch that, I would kill for a boyfriend.
"You'll find one Mercedes. I found the love of my life, you'll find yours."
"Thanks Boo."
"Bye Mercedes."
"Don't le him slip away."
"Never."
"Bye Blaine."
Blaine hung up.
"Breathe Blaine, you can tell him, there is nothing stopping you." Blaine told himself.
Blaine quickly dialed Kurt's number.
"Hey Blaine." Kurt said unenthusiastically.
"Look Kurt, I think we need to talk."
"Oh God, you are breaking up with me aren't you?"
"Wh-What no...just meet me at the Lima Bean in fifteen minutes."
"Umm...alright." Kurt said hesitantly.
"I love you, Kurt."
"Love you too."
Blaine heard the phone hang up.


Blaine went over everything that he was going to say.
"Hey Blaine."
Blaine saw Kurt waving his hand for him to come over.
"Hey Kurt."
"Ho-How are you?" Kurt asked.
"I'm fine, but how I am is not the point. It's how you are."
"Me? Oh, I am alright."
"No, not like that-just nevermind. The other night we were talking about our feelings, and I just keep feeling like you aren't sure about how I feel, and when I tell you, you don;t believe me."
"I believe you, Blaine, I truly believe that you care about me, I believe that you love me, but I don;t know how long tha eeling is going to last."
"What do you mean?" Blaine questioned.
"I mean, I know that I am-I know that being with me isn't easy. I just, I am trying my best to be someone that you could actually see yourself being with for the rest of your life."
Blaine took Kurt's han in his, "Kurt, everytime that we are together, I picture myself lying in bed with you, holding you, falling asleep with you, everynight. Everytime that you speak, I picture you telling me how your day was as we sit down to eat dinner. Everytime I see you studying, I picture you teaching our kids to read, or helping them with their homework. Kurt, you are my world now. I don't see anyone but you. I will NEVER leave you, EVER. You are the only one tht could send me awaym and that will be the day that you no longer want me in your life. I promise you that I will do everything that I can to prove to you that I love you, and I will ALWAYS love you, no matter what happens. You are my first love, and you will be my ONLY love."
Blaine felt tears forming in the corners of his eyes.
"Bl-Blaine, you really feel that way?"
"Of course I do."
"Ki-kiss me." Kurt pleaded.
Blaine leaned over the table, grabbed Kurt by the nape of his neck and brought their lips together.
"I love you Kurt, I love you so, so, so incredibly much." Blaine said between kisses.
"Never leave me Blaine. Promise me that you will never leave me."
"I promise."
